Description
This is a certificated Zoom workshop made up of four sessions held over four weeks, on consecutive Wednesday evenings.
Delivered by Charlotte Williams.
If you want to develop your coaching and Client Centred Learning skills from the comfort of your own home, then look no further.
This interactive four module course will introduce you to coaching and help you understand its purpose. We explore coaching versus Client Centred Learning, look at where instruction fits into coaching, and help you develop the skills and techniques to deliver great client centred lessons.
Over the four modules you will begin to understand when and why to coach, and what coaching really is. You will interact with others throughout the modules and in breakout rooms to help further your understanding.
You will learn to use different coaching approaches effectively and efficiently to help your pupils develop holistically. The course will help you understand where coaching fits into Client Centred Learning, and why the DVSA use the term CCL rather than coaching. We also look at instruction and coaching, where the two paths meet, and when instruction is essential to Client Centred Learning.
By the end of the four module workshop, you should have the knowledge, understanding and teaching tools to improve your delivery of CCL lessons and develop your pupils’ ability to evaluate and self evaluate. These are the skills that will keep them safer on the roads after their test.
Dates for the Zoom sessions are Wednesday 28 October, and 4, 11 and 18 November 2026, from 7pm to 9pm.
