1. Who we are

Knowledgeablee Instructor Training Ltd, trading as ADIkit, is the data controller for the information described in this policy. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 14076647, at

2 Forest Farm Business Park, Fulford, York, Y019 4RH.

We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration number C2001854.

2. What we collect

When you book training or buy a product. Your name, email address, phone number, billing address, and delivery address for physical items. We do not see or store your card details. Payments are handled by Stripe.

When you subscribe to KIT Mag. Your name and email address.

When you use our contact form. Your name, email address, and whatever you write in your message.

When you leave a review. Your name, email address, and your review. Your name and review are published on our site if we approve them. Your email address is not published and is only used to verify the review is genuine.

When you subscribe to Reflect or Reflect Pro. These apps are hosted by Teachable, who collect your account details directly. What you write in your reflective logs is stored in your Teachable account. We do not read your log entries.

When you visit the site. Anonymous information about how the site is used, through Google Analytics, but only if you agree to it when you arrive.

3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

To deliver what you have bought. Sending joining instructions, posting your log packs, giving you access to digital products. Our lawful basis is performance of a contract.

To answer your enquiries. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, namely responding to people who contact us.

To send you KIT Mag. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you gave when you subscribed and can withdraw at any time.

To publish reviews. Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you submitted it.

To meet our legal obligations. Keeping records of sales for tax purposes. Our lawful basis is legal obligation.

To understand how our site is used. Our lawful basis is your consent, given through the cookie banner.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data to anyone, and we never will. We share it only with the suppliers we need to run the business:

• Stripe, who process payments
• Teachable, who host our Reflect apps and pre-recorded training
• Hoot Media, who host our website and run our mailing list
• Google, for website analytics, if you have consented

Each of these processes your data on our instructions and under their own privacy terms. We may also disclose information if we are legally required to.

5. Sending data outside the UK

Stripe, Teachable and Google are based in the United States, so some of your data is processed there. Those transfers are covered by the safeguards required under UK data protection law, including the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep it

Sales and booking records: six years after the end of the tax year they relate to, as required by HMRC.

Mailing list: until you unsubscribe.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• ask what data we hold about you, and get a copy of it
• have inaccurate data corrected
• have your data deleted, where we have no legal reason to keep it
• object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it
• withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent
• ask for your data in a portable format

8. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use two kinds.

Essential cookies keep the site working, remembering what is in your basket and keeping you logged in. These cannot be turned off.

Analytics cookies from Google Analytics tell us how people use the site so we can improve it. These are only set if you agree, and you can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer.

9. If you are unhappy

Please tell us first and we will try to put it right. If you are still not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
